Hey Mustangs!
The coaches wanted to make you aware of a cool opportunity that's coming up. We know some of you are already aware and have bought tickets, but some may not be aware that for the first time in decades, Theodore Wirth will be hosting a World Cup Race in March!!! The fastest skiers in the world will be racing on the same trails that we've been practicing on all winter! This is the biggest Nordic Skiing event to be held in the US since the 2002 Salt Lake City Olympics and it's happening right in our own backyard! This is an awesome way to see racing at the pro-level, most of which usually takes place overseas. Some of your coaches will be in attendance too - either as spectators or volunteers so we'd love to see you come out! Buy your tickets now and get this event on your calendar. NOTE there is a price hike on January Jan 27. General Admission will allow great viewing - and it will be a super fun social event. Note that the main event takes place on Tuesday, March 17th, but most of the action will take place in the later afternoon or evening. If skipping school is not an option, you can always come down afterwards and still see plenty of awesome racing! Comments are closed.
